Reporting harassment

From 31st October 2024, it is a crime to do any of the following within 150 metres of an abortion clinic or hospital providing abortion services:

  • influence a person’s decision to access or provide abortion,
  • cause harassment, alarm, or distress related to abortion, or
  • obstruct someone accessing or providing abortion

What to do

  1. If you see anybody you think is doing something forbidden in a safe access zone, call the police on 101 and tell them that you believe a safe access zone is being breached.
  2. If the activity outside is particularly large, involves excessive noise, or may progress to violence, call the police on 999 as soon as possible.
  3. Report what you’ve seen here to enable us to keep a full record of ongoing anti-abortion harassment

If you would like to ask any more questions you can fill in the form below or email us here.
